Coolsculpting

The CoolSculpting® system uses a patented method called Cryolipolysis™, which consists of controlled cooling to eliminate fat.

Designed solely to destroy fat cells without causing the skin or tissue damage that often occurs with more invasive procedures such as liposuction, this non-surgical procedure may be best suited for patients who only need to reduce a minimal amount of fat, or for those who are unwilling to undergo surgery.

CoolSculpting® is an FDA and European Community approved procedure for reducing body fat.

How does it work?

A specially designed applicator generates a gentle vacuum pressure to introduce the skin to be treated between the 2 cooling panels.
When the procedure begins, a cold sensation is felt in the treated area. This sensation disappears within a few minutes.
During the procedure you may remain sitting or lying down, depending on the area to be treated.
The treatment lasts between one and three hours depending on the areas to be treated.
CoolSculpting® is not a way to lose weight or treat obesity, nor is it a substitute for other invasive methods such as liposuction.

What is Cryolipolysis™?

Cryolipolysis™ performed using the CoolSculpting® system is a new non-invasive method of reducing fat in localized body areas such as the abdomen, flanks or back by using cold. This innovative technology consists of cooling fat cells or adipocytes, causing them to be eliminated.
