Veins
Due to the variety of lesions, each diagnosis is carefully studied and according to the lesion and skin type.
Varicose veins in legs:
To improve venous return, it is recommended to maintain a reasonable weight, exercise, avoid constipation, take proper posture and use graduated compression stockings, which prevent varicose veins during pregnancy and chronic venous insufficiency. One of the treatments we use is sclerotherapy, which is a minimally invasive medical treatment used to treat varicose veins and spider veins. Substances are injected into dilated veins, telangiectasias, spider veins, to sclerose them. The sessions depend on the number of lesions, it is an outpatient procedure.
Veins on the face
Spider veins are capillary dilations, popularly known as “broken capillaries”, which look like a spider and typically appear on the face but can appear anywhere else. One of the systems we use for this problem is through laser treatment, which is fast, very effective and quick to heal. A slight sensation of heat is usually felt, which subsides with cold compresses. It usually requires several sessions, which vary according to the injury and skin type. The interval between each session is determined according to the evaluation and assessment of the evolution of the treatment.
